Job summary

The Field Application Engineers support Energy Micro customers with hardware and software development for microcontrollers. The Field Application Engineer actively participates on technical seminars and internal and external training.

Key responsibilities

  • Support customers with development of hardware and software for microcontrollers
  • Key customer technical support through e-mails, telephone conferences as well as on-site support
  • Writing of application notes, white papers and technical articles
  • Technical 2nd line support for Energy Micro and distributor’s Field Application Engineers
  • Hold technical product presentations at technical Energy Micro seminars

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Eletrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience is required
  • Experience from design of embedded microcontroller applications
  • Strong combination of technical competence and business and customer orientation
