Eirik Jørgensen has more than 13 years of semiconductor experience in research, development, test, and management.

In 1997, Eirik joined Atmel Norway (AVR microcontroller design center) and held several key positions within the company and was managing both the AVR design- and test group for several years.

Eirik was Director of the AVR Products group until August 2007. He holds a MSEE from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway.
