Energy Micro wins France’s Electron d’Or

On June 16th 2010 Energy Micro received the Electron d’Or trophy at a ceremony in Paris, France. Energy Micro won the Processors and Memories category, and the winners are selected by an independent jury of French electronics industry experts. Read more here.

Energy Micro is a finalist in the e-Legacy Awards

Energy Micro has been named one of the finalist in the Environmental Design category in the annual e-Legacy Awards. The winners are selected via a public on-line vote, and Energy Micro would appreciate your vote!

New employees at Energy Micro

Energy Micro is gearing up for more new EFM32 products, and our energetic team now includes these new members:

Phi Hong Phi Hong
VP of Finance
Phi Hong has more than 5 years experience in financial management and accounting. From 2005 until joining Energy Micro Phi has worked for Ar2 Økonomi AS as an Authorised External Accountant. He represented Ar2 Økonomi in their dealings with a significant number of companies, some of which are publicly listed. Phi holds a Bachelor Degree in Auditing from Høyskolen i Oslo (Oslo University college) with an additional diploma in Business Studies from Næringsakademiet (Oslo Mergent Academy).
Zalina Shaher Zalina Shaher
VP of Operation
Zalina Shaher holds a Degree in Engineering from Southern Illinois University, USA. She started her career in Motorola Semiconductor, and after 17 years Zalina joined OnSemiconductor as Director of Strategies. In November 2002 she joined Silicon Lab to startup their Asia Operations, and in the summer of 2008 she joined Honeywell Aerospace to startup a brand new factory in Penang.
HanneBergersen Hanne Bergersen
Planning and Logistics Manager
Hanne has more than 20 years of experience as Export Assistant, Senior Export Coordinator, Area Sales Manager and Logistic Manager. She has worked in companies like ABB, Chipcon and Texas Instruments. Hanne has a Bachelor in Economics & Exports from Denmark.
Mikael Krømer Mikael Krømer
Senior Analog Designer
Mikael Krømer has 10 years of experience as a RF/analog and system designer. He has worked in companies as Chipcon and Texas Instruments. Mikael holds a Masters Degree in Electronics from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway.
Erna Duvaas Erna Hegni Duvaas
Administration
Erna has 4 years at Texas Instruments and 8 years at Chipcon as Head of Administration. Prior to that she worked for 30 years as secretary at SINTEF in Oslo.
Tom Berge Tom Morten Berge
Digital Designer
Tom Berge has several years of experience designing ASICs. He has experience from Ericsson with focus on backplane development for mobile platforms. Tom has a B.S. in Computer Engineering and M.S. in Computer Science from University at Buffalo in USA.
Per Vadseth Per Runde Vadseth
Senior Digital Design Engineer
Per Rune Vadseth has almost 10 years of experience in design of digital and mixed-signal systems. This includes integrated circuit design, board level design and embedded software design. Per Rune has worked for companies like Chipcon, Nera Networks and Roxar Flow Measurements and has a Master degree in Electronics from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway.
Euisoo Yoo Euisoo Yoo
RF & Analog Design Engineer
Euisoo Yoo has one year of experience in analog circuit design. He worked for Lutron Electronics as a project electrical engineer, and had internships at asicNorth / IBM Microelectronics as a circuit designer. He wrote his Master's thesis on optimizing operational amplifier design methodology at McGill University, Canada.
Tiago Monte Tiago Monte
Applications Engineer
Tiago has graduated last year with a Master's in electronics and telecommunications from University of Aveiro, Portugal. He started working as an embedded system developer/MCU programmer for Globaltronic. Tiago has now joined our Support and Training team, working from Oslo.
Amen Leung Amen Leung
Senior FAE, Asia
Amen Leung has 18 years of experience as Senior Software Engineer, Senior FAE and Assistant Field Application Manager. He has worked in companies like Cyan Asia and National Semiconductors. Amen has a BSc in computing from University of Portsmouth and Higher Diploma in Electronic Engineering from City Polytechnic of Hong Kong.
