Energy Micro appoints new distributor in China

Oslo, Norway, June 2011 – Energy Micro, the energy friendly microcontroller and radio company, has announced the appointment of Honestar Technologies as a distributor for China. Honestar will support Energy Micro’s complete portfolio of energy friendly ARM® Cortex™ based EFM32 Gecko MCUs and EFR4 Draco RF transceivers for ultra low power applications.

Headquartered in Shenzhen, China, with subsidiaries in Beijing, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Qingdao and Xiamen, Honestar was established in 2000. The company provides distribution solutions and technical support for a broad range of market segments including consumer electronics, green energy, wireless communication, meters & instruments, and PC peripherals.
