Company to expand presence throughout China

Oslo, Norway, May 20, 2011 – Energy Micro, the energy friendly microcontroller and radio company, has appointed Jeff Su as Sales Director for Greater China. The appointment supports a planned expansion of the company’s activities in the region, to include a representative office in Shanghai and the recruitment of field sales and application engineers across China.

The former Sales Director of WinTech Group’s microcontroller business in China, Jeff Su moves to Energy Micro with a wealth of MCU application experience. He previously managed operations at Morrihan, a major distributor of MCU products, opening offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen and building sales and application teams across China. Jeff is a graduate of the Feng-Chia University in Taiwan.

Jeff Su said, “The increasing trend towards more energy aware product design means there is great demand in China for Energy Micro’s unique ultra low power microcontrollers and radio transceivers. The time is right for the company to increase its foothold in the region and I look forward to working with customers on the next generation of energy friendly product designs.”
