Energy Micro Longevity Guarantee
Energy Micro longevity policy is to continue to manufacture all devices as long as customers continue to buy them and for as long as the relevant silicon technology is available. Energy Micro are using very sustainable manufacturing partners like TSMC which normally maintain the availability of their technologies for decades. When Energy Micro chooses a new silicon technology the target is that such technology shall be available more than 20 years but no less than 15 years.
Energy Micro provides a minimum longevity guarantee for continued availability of all its product families until clearly defined dates as set out below. The minimum longevity guarantee includes the standard Energy Micro end-of-life notification policy (one-year notice for placement of final orders and an additional year until the last ship date). If it becomes necessary to transfer the production of a product to an alternate manufacturing facility or technology, Energy Micro will
notify customers and re-qualify that product.
