Ultra Low Power Energy Mode 3

Energy Mode 3 - EM3

Fast wake up and ultra low power consumption

Just like the other energy modes, Energy Mode 3 makes it possible to tailor the energy consumption of the EFM32 to a level suited for the system. At the same time the system will maintain a very short wake up time and respond to external interrupts. When using EM3 the low-frequency oscillator is disabled, but the low-leakage RAM ensures full data retention. The low power Analog Comparator or asynchronous external interrupts can wake-up the device. Even in this mode the wake-up time is only a few microseconds, and the current consumption is 0.6 µA.
