VCMP - Voltage Supply Comparator
Quick Facts
What?
The Voltage Supply Comparator is available in Energy Mode 0 to Energy Mode 3 and monitors the input voltage supply and generates software interrupts on events..
Why?
The VCMP can be used for simple power supply monitoring, e.g. for a battery level indicator.
How?
The divided power supply is compared to a programmable reference voltage, and an interrupt can be generated when the supply is higher or lower than the reference. The VCMP can also be duty-cycled by software to further reduce the energy consumption.
Features
The Voltage Supply Comparator is used to monitor the supply voltage from software. An interrupt can be generated when the supply falls below or rises above a programmable threshold.
- Voltage supply monitoring
- Dividable VDD in 64 steps selectable as positive comparator input
- Internal 1.25 V bandgap reference
